St. Louis City and the Vancouver Whitecaps will face off once again in an MLS match at CityPark, marking their second encounter in as many weeks.

In the 2023 regular season, St. Louis led the league with 11 home victories. However, they have only managed to secure four wins at home so far this year, with a maximum potential of five more victories at CityPark in 2024.

This season, St. Louis has suffered three defeats in MLS play, just one fewer than their inaugural campaign last year.

Their recent 2-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes marked only the second time they have secured a victory at CityPark while keeping a clean sheet, the first being against New York City FC in March (2-0).

The Vancouver Whitecaps seemed poised to secure consecutive MLS away victories for the second time in 2024, only to concede a late equalizer with 11 minutes remaining.

This was only the third time this season they failed to win after taking an initial lead in a domestic match, costing them seven points.

Despite last weekend's disappointment, Vanni Sartini's team still managed to collect their 18th point away from home in this competition, matching their total from 2023.
