Atletico Madrid are outraged by the collapse of the Samu Omorodion transfer deal.

Chelsea are  causing significant frustration for Atletico Madrid over their handling of the Samu Omorodion transfer. The deal is part of a complex transfer triangle involving Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher and Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez.

For the arrangement to proceed, Atletico needs to finalize Alvarez's transfer for around £82 million. Gallagher would then move to Atletico, and Omorodion was expected to join Chelsea in a separate deal worth approximately £34 million.

However, the Omorodion transfer hit a snag on Sunday night due to contract issues, leading to its cancellation. Consequently, discussions are now focused on a potential deal for Joao Felix, who could return to Chelsea after his previous stint there during the 2022-23 season.

Suggest that tensions are high between Atletico and Chelsea, with both clubs keen to ensure Gallagher's move goes through. Atletico are particularly upset, feeling disrespected by Chelsea's decision to alter the terms of Omorodion’s contract after he failed his medical. They may now seek more than £34 million for Felix, which complicates the negotiations.

Felix is  interested in a move to Chelsea, but the clubs need to agree on terms that are mutually acceptable. With Alvarez and Gallagher already in Madrid, the pressure is on both clubs to resolve these issues. If Felix joins Chelsea, it would be a positive outcome, provided there is space for him in the squad. Additionally, Raheem Sterling's potential move to Juventus could influence Chelsea's plans.
