BREAKING! Liverpool have announced the signing of one of Euro 2024 top openings.
Liverpool has announced the signing of one of the standout performers of Euro 2024, Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
The 23-year-old Georgian national team goalkeeper has signed a six-year contract with the Merseyside club, lasting until the summer of 2030.
However, Mamardashvili will not immediately join Liverpool; he will only move to the club in 2025. The 2024/2025 season will be spent on loan at his current club, Valencia.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Georgian goalkeeper cost the "Reds" €30 million, plus an additional €5 million in potential bonuses.
Earlier, it was believed that the 23-year-old could move on loan to Bournemouth to better adapt to English football, but the "Cherries" have focused on Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa instead.
