Confirmed. Manchester United have signed a PSG midfielder.
Manchester United made some high-profile signings in the summer transfer window and they are not going to stop there, having completed the transfer of PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
The 23-year-old Uruguayan has moved to Manchester United on a permanent basis, signing a contract with the Mancunians until 2029. The amount of the transfer has not been disclosed, but it was previously reported that PSG will receive for the Uruguayan 50 million euros at once, and another 10 million euros are provided in the form of bonuses.
Ugarte has spent just over a year in the French capital, having moved to PSG from Sporting for €60 million in July 2023. As well as the team from Lisbon, the Uruguayan has also represented Portuguese side Famalicao and Phoenix in his homeland.
For PSG Ugarte played 37 matches, in which he did not score goals, but gave three effective assists.
It should be recalled that Manchester United in the summer transfer window signed Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee.
