It finally happened. Kylian Mbappé scored his first goal for Real Madrid in La Liga.
The star newcomer of Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé, has finally scored his first goal for the team in Spain's La Liga. This moment was eagerly awaited for nearly four matches.
On September 1st, during the fourth round, the French forward found the back of the net against Real Betis. Mbappé capitalized on a stylish backheel pass from Valverde, sending the Madrid crowd into a frenzy. Just a few minutes later, he converted a penalty, securing his first brace in a Real Madrid shirt. Interestingly, Mbappé had several chances in each of his previous La Liga games, but his finishing let him down.
Over four La Liga matches, Mbappé took around 25 shots on goal and was finally rewarded for his efforts. It's worth noting that his first goal for Real Madrid came against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup match.
The star forward will have the chance to add to his goal tally after the international break. On September 14th, Real Madrid will play away against Real Sociedad, and three days later, they will host Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League.
