Barcelona will look to get back to winning form in La Liga as they face Leganes at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Barcelona have faced challenges this season, but the first half of their 2024-25 campaign has been largely positive. The Catalan giants sit atop La Liga and are well-placed to progress in the Champions League. They come into this match after a 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in Germany, which kept them second in their group, three points behind leaders Liverpool.

In La Liga, Hansi Flick's side boasts a record of 12 wins, two draws, and three losses from 17 matches, putting them on 38 points—two ahead of Real Madrid, though their rivals have a game in hand. Barcelona have been the league's most prolific team this season with 50 goals but have won just one of their last five league outings, suffering two defeats.

Leganes, meanwhile, suffered a 3-0 home loss to Real Sociedad in their last outing, leaving them 17th in La Liga with 15 points from 16 matches. Back in the top flight for the first time since 2019-20, survival is the primary goal for Borja Jimenez's side, and they’ve shown resilience, particularly on the road, drawing five of their eight away games. However, all three of their wins this season have come at home.
