Barcelona determined to bounce back from loss in Girona, a battle of redemption for Barcelona

Barcelona are looking to secure their place in the top four when they host Real Sociedad on Monday. Real Sociedad responded to their first defeat in five matches by beating Las Palmas 2-0 at home in their last game. Sheraldo Becker’s goal added to Alex Suarez’s own goal in the game to see Sociedad bounce back after a 1-0 loss to Real Madrid. That win also handed Sociedad their first clean sheet in four matches, a stat to build on coming here. Erreala have a reason to stay optimistic coming into this game, as they have a good run away from home. In their last three away league games, they are unbeaten, with two wins. Real Sociedad have only lost twice in the last 13 away matches in La Liga. In that run, they won six times while both teams scored in eight.
