Porto and Sporting will clash for the trophy, and it seems that both teams are worthy of lifting the cup above their heads at the "Nacional do Jamor" stadium.
A top half finish will be on Getafe’s minds as they welcome Mallorca for their final La Liga game of the season. These two face off on Sunday, Getafe starting the game in 12th place with 43 points, six ahead of 17th placed Mallorca. Despite suffering four straight defeats, Getafe’s place in La Liga next season is secure. However, a winning finale at home will be desirable after two straight defeats there. In their last outing Getafe fell 1-0 away to Alaves, who eventually leapfrogged them to 10th place. A 3-1 win over relegated Almeria in April is all Getafe have in their last eight matches. They lost five of those eight matches while failing to score in six. The win over Almeria is the only time Getafe managed more than a goal in the last 10 matches. This poor scoring run has dogged them even at home, with the team managing just a goal in their last four home matches. Getafe have managed just three home wins in the last 11 matches across all competitions.
Mallorca’s place in La Liga is secure, as they are four points above the drop zone, with a game to play. They will be confident going into this game after avoiding defeat in their last two matches against Getafe. The first leg meeting between these two ended in a 0-0 draw, having previously beaten Getafe 3-1. However, visiting Getafe hasn’t come with the best results for Mallorca. They have no win in five visits to Getafe, losing four times but they’ll hope their recent form lifts them here. In the last three matches, Mallorca are unbeaten, collecting five points in two draws and a win. That’s about as much as Getafe managed in their last eight games. A loss to Atletico Madrid is Mallorca’s only dent in their last five matches. They had to come back late for a 2-2 draw with Almeria last time out, winning a point that guaranteed their safety. Their away form is however not great, Mallorca having managed no outright win in 10 matches.
