Chelsea Women aim to keep their perfect start to the season as they head to the Netherlands Women's Champions League match against FC Twente Women.

Twente are making their debut in the Women's Champions League group stage after successfully navigating the qualifying rounds. The Dutch champions overcame Cardiff City and Valur in the first qualifying round before achieving an impressive 8-1 aggregate win over Osijek to secure their spot in the main draw.

In their first group match, Twente celebrated a solid start, with Kayleigh van Dooren scoring twice in a 2-0 away victory against Celtic. However, they faced disappointment in their recent match against Excelsior, where they needed an 80th-minute equalizer to earn a 1-1 draw at home. Despite feeling underwhelmed by that result, the draw extended their unbeaten run to nine competitive matches.

Chelsea on the other hand, come into the match in high spirits, having won all four of their matches under the management of Sonia Bompastor. 

Chelsea continued their strong form with a 2-1 victory over Arsenal in Saturday's Women's Super League clash, thanks to early goals from Ramirez and Sandy Baltimore. This win means Chelsea have not lost in their last seven competitive matches since a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool in May. The WSL champions will be optimistic about extending their unbeaten run on Thursday, having achieved seven wins and three draws in their last ten away matches in European competition.
