The match was canceled because North Korea said it could not host due to 'unavoidable circumstances.'
FIFA decided the qualifiers should not be rescheduled, North Korea could not find an alternative venue and there was no room in the calendar for a postponement.
Japan was declared to have won WO 3-0.
