Under the guidance of head coach Antonio Conte, Napoli has reclaimed the top spot in Serie A for the first time since their Scudetto-winning season in 2023, currently holding 13 points and leading Juventus by one after six matches.

Following a dominant 5-0 victory over Serie B team Palermo in the Coppa Italia, Napoli faced Monza last weekend, scoring twice in an 11-minute span in the first half to secure the win and extend their unbeaten run to five league matches. Matteo Politano made history as one of only three active players to score in ten consecutive Serie A seasons, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a second goal.

Como, now rejuvenated under ambitious ownership, is eager to change that trend after securing their first top-flight victory in 21 years with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hellas Verona last week. Striker Patrick Cutrone scored twice, and Andrea Belotti ended his goal drought, pushing Como to eight points and up to 10th place in the table. Coach Cesc Fabregas will be pleased to see his team gaining momentum, as Como has scored three goals in consecutive Serie A matches for only the second time in history, last achieved in the 1951-52 season.

This weekend, Napoli's solid defense will need to stay sharp to maintain their lead as they aim for first place heading into the international break.

Prediction:  Napoli 2-1 Como
