In a rematch of July's Copa America final, Colombia will face Argentina on Tuesday, both teams being strong contenders for the 2026 World Cup as they near the midpoint of qualifying.

They now lead the table with 18 points from 21 and are 12 points clear in the automatic qualification spots. With an unbeaten away record in CONMEBOL qualifiers extending back to 2017, Argentina is well-positioned for a 14th consecutive World Cup appearance. A strong performance against Colombia would reinforce their top spot.
